Course: Introduction to Fire Extinguisher Training

Who is the course suitable for?

All employers have a duty to provide a suitable level of Fire Safety Awareness training for staff. The Fire Extinguisher Course is specifically designed to provide a basic level of fire safety and fire fighting knowledge for all employees.

 

What does the course include?

How will the participants be assessed?

There is no formal assessment for this course. A certificate of attendance will be awarded detailing topics covered.

When will participants have to attend?

The course is designed to be undertaken at the clients premises, or external venue by prior arrangement. Course duration is 2 hours.

What will participants do on the course?

Theoretical input and practical hands on use of fire extinguishers.

What will the participants gain from this course?

Participants will understand the basic principles of fire prevention and fire behaviour; gain practical hands on fire extinguisher familiarisation.

The course is delivered by qualified trainers with extensive experience as Fire Safety Officers within the Fire Service. The practical sessions are delivered using gas powered simulators providing the opportunity to experience first hand fire fighting in a realistic but safe environment.

Each course is designed for up to 12 participants. All costs are exclusive of VAT charged at 17.5%
