Course: Level 2 Award in Health & Safety in the Workplace
Overview
This course replaces what used to be the Basic or Foundation Certificate in Health and Safety. Employers are responsible for providing safe and healthy workplace conditions and the right systems and methods for safe activities. Under the law employees also have responsibilities. They need the right knowledge and attitude which demands proper training in the basics of health and safety, as well as specific training for individual tasks. The new Level 2 qualification includes new sections on working at heights, transport, noise and vibration.

and the safety of customers, contractors and the public, and can be adapted to meet specific
needs.

How will the participants be assessed?
This is a CIEH accredited course; assessment is by the means of multiple choice test.
When will participants have to attend?
This course is designed to be undertaken at the clients' premises or an external venue by arrangement.
All our Health and Safety tutors are accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and are holders of the 'Professional Trainers Certificate'.
Each successful participant will receive a nationally recognised certificate of competence from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.
