Who is the course suitable for?
A Workplace Risk Assessment course is recommended for employees who have specific responsibilities for carrying out, or reviewing the simple fire risk assessments in the workplace. The Workplace Risk Assessment course combines basic fire safety theory with the principles of risk assessment. This is an ideal course for those who wish to comply with the requirements of the new Fire Safety Order or the existing Fire Precautions (workplace) Regulations, in smaller premises. For more complex buildings, or assessments the two day Fire Risk Assessment Course is recommended.

How will the participants be assessed?
There is no formal assessment for this course. A certificate of attendance will be awarded detailing topics covered.

The course is of 1 day duration and can be carried out at the clients premises, our premises or an external venue by prior arrangement.
What will participants do on the course?
Theoretical class work with interactive exercises and discussions.
What will the participants gain from this course?
Participants will gain awareness of fire safety in the workplace and an understanding of the principles of 'Risk Assessment'. Participants will be given the necessary information to enable them to carry out and manage basic fire risk assessments in their own workplace.
The course is delivered by qualified trainers with extensive experience as Fire Safety Enforcement Officers within the Fire Service. This experience enables participants to gain a valuable understanding and to achieve and maintain legal compliance in the most practical and cost effective way.
